We (Linda and Dominic Court) bought Tecnam 3955 new from Italy thro' Bruce Stark (Tecnam Australia), with its arrival Oct 2003. 100hp Rotax engine ser no: 4429078. It has just under 600hrs on the clock and has never been involved in an accident/incident. It has been maintained by an ex-RAAF AME, with its last service (600hrly engine and airframe) being conducted by Richard Eacott (Rotax recognised Rotax Specialist) and a Level 3/LAME on the airframe.
 
It has had one pilot (Linda) who already had her licence at delivery. She is now a CFI but has never used 3955 for any training whatsoever. It has always been hangared (in our own hangar at Caboolture ie nil "hangar rash") aside from when we are on our air safaris around Australia.
 
It has been fitted out with additional avionics with quality and safety in mind and following are more details:

     Xcom 760 VHF radio
     Com 1 / Com 2 switch
     UHF Fittings (allowing us to plug our 5w handheld UHF into the system)

     JPI FS-450 Fuel Flow Computer
     Cabin Heat
     Windscreen defrost
     Carby Heat (factory fitted option we chose)

     Log Book VDO
     FlightCom Intercom with squelch
     AM/FM Radio with CD
     Ballistic Chute (factory fitted option we chose)
     Tinted windows
     Nav Lights (red and green on wing-tips)
 
Aircraft came standard with:
     Air Speed Indicator
     RPM
     VSI
     Altimeter which we replaced with a more accurate USA model
     CHT gauge
     Oil Temp gauge
     Oil Pressure gauge
     R and L fuel gauge
     Fuel Pressure gauge
     Electric fuel boost pump
 
It has
     2 x 48lit wing fuel tanks, cruises at 105 kts (5000rpm) at under 18 lit/hr (4.5 hrs cruise plus 45mins reserve) Uses Premium Unleaded OR AvGas (and both mixed together is fine too)
     Electric Flaps
     Electric Trim
     Strobe (on tail)
     Landing Light (port wing)
     Lockable cabin
     Ventilated disc brakes
     Painted wing tips and elevator tips (additional cost post delivery)
     Duel control columns, throttle and rudder pedals
     In-flight adjustable seats
     New Condor 6 ply main wheel tryes; orig nose tyre excellent condition
